Breeder Referral Guidelines
1. Referrals will be made only to current CVVC club members in good standing who have submitted the necessary “Request for Referral” form (below) to the Breeder Referral Chairperson.
2. Referrals will be made to such club member who owns a bitch who has whelped a litter, or to such club member who owns a sire that has fathered a litter. The club member requesting the referral must certify that the litter has been produced in accordance with CVVC, Inc.’s Code of Ethics.
3. Only litters that have been bred (either “on the ground” or expected within nine weeks) will be referred. The litters being referred will be listed by order of age, with the oldest puppies listed first. The Breeder Referral Chairperson will only provide whatever contact information has been specified on the “Request for Referral” form.
4. CVVC, Inc. does not recommend or endorse any litter. CVVC, Inc. does have a Code of Ethics for breeders, but CVVC, Inc. does not screen breeders or litters which may be referred. CVVC, Inc. assumes and accepts no responsibility for the reputation or quality of any breeder or litter for which a referral is provided. Caveat Emptor.

Breeder Referral Request Form
Referrals will only be made to a Connecticut Valley Vizsla Club, Inc. (CVVC) member in good standing who certifies as to compliance with CVVC's Code of Ethics and who owns a bitch that has (or is expected within 9 weeks to have) whelped a litter or a stud dog that has sired a litter that is born or due within 9 weeks. By submitting this form, the club member identified below hereby certifies that this litter has been produced in accordance with CVVC’s Breeder’s Code of Ethics, and also agrees to keep CVVC’s Breeder Referral Chair up to date as to the status of the litter.
