CVVC Winter Fun Day

7:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. Sign in - Coffee & Light Fare (Included with your registration)– Please arrive on time so that we can start promptly at 8:00 a.m.

8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Red Cross Certified First Aid & CPR Course - Includes Four Hour Course by Certified Red Cross Instructor, Practice Experience on “Dog Dummies”, and take-home First Aid Manual & Instructional DVD – Participants receive a certificate

Cost: $60.00 CVVC Members $65.00 Non-Members

Open to All Dog Owners - Dogs do not participate – Please Bring a Crate For Your Dog

12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Lunch (Included for Free with any Fun Day Registration)

1:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Freestyle Cost: $15.00 (Open to vizslas only)

Again we are fortunate to have professional photographer ANDREW FOTTA offer his services starting at noon to take photographs of your dogs. Advance sign-up is not required, but would be most helpful if you sign in as interested at morning check-ins. Cost is determined by the photographer based upon what you purchase (he has lots of options).

ABOUT OUR MORNING PROGRAM (Do NOT contact the Red Cross for Information - contact CVVC)

Come join us for an afternoon of Canine Musical Freestyle. It is so much more than dancing with your dog (And we know that you secretly do that already!) Teaching your dog freestyle makes you a better trainer, and improves your dog’s attention. It also builds skills that can be used in conformation, agility, obedience, Rally and therapy work. Not only that, it is lots of fun!!

The workshop will be taught by Nancy Triou. Nancy has been enjoying Freestyle with her Flat-Coats since 1995. She and her canine partners have participated in Freestyle competitions, and performed at demos, fundraisers, convalescent homes, and schools throughout New England. Nancy has introduced people and dogs to Freestyle through various workshops and classes. Nancy will be assisted by Jackie Proko, who is also a member of the Top Hat and Tails Freestyle team
